About this product
Industrial plants always intrigue me with their often intricate structures and processes, along with their history and impact on the nearby communities and environment. While people often find them ugly, we have to recognize that they're woven into the essential fabric of our lives. This image shows details of the exterior of the Petro-Canada Lubricants plant in Mississauga, Ontario. It's one of three images in black and white in portrait format. I've created these to help bring out the patterns in the pipes, adding a smoothness and clarity, with a hint of all that lies behind the first layer.
